Mexican American Studies Program
The Mexican American Studies Program is intended to both help instill a sense of cultural pride in those Hispanics who take the field of study, as well as an appreciation for the evolution of Mexican American culture for those who do not come from this background.
This program provides the historical and cultural curriculum to install confidence and respect for the processes that have combined to create the modern Mexican American.
With multiple articulation agreements between institutions around the state, the Mexican American Studies Associates Degree transfers to these institutions for students who are interested in pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mexican American Studies.
